I believe that we reached our chosen target audience as the age we chose to base our film on was 15-30 years of age. The genre appeals to the younger audience as it’s a genre that brings along an interesting narrative and a lot of young people like to be scared or put themselves in situations of tension or suspense.  We felt that the audience would be think our title sequence was appealing because of aspects such as the actors we chose to feature in our title sequence are popular among the young ages as they feature in other popular films and have been very successful.  Another factor would be the narrative as it’s about a young boy most children may have a younger sibling of a similar age and feel quite strongly towards a young child being kidnapped this is also closely followed with a parents or adults response to a child being kidnapped, it’s a touching subject that affects everyone and is on the news daily that’s why I think we picked the right target audience for our film.  The feedback we got from our class members were,  on our feedback from our class members where that “the cast we chose where the right people for the genre” also that the target audience, “were the right age due to some of the describing footage that may be shown throughout”. Other feedback that we got from our class that was a success was the ideas that our tile sequence may include, also they liked the narrative and thought that it was clear and strong once we tweaked it slightly and the title matched the genre. The more negative feedback we got was if the film was meant to be British or American due to the actors, also the profit we wanted maybe a bit too high.
